My Baby Girl Is 3!!!
So, yesterday was Kate's Birthday! She is 3! I can't believe it! Where has the time gone? Well, I can't imagine my life without her. She is the cutest thing ever! I love her to death! For her party she wanted a Dora party. So, I thought it would be fun to have her gone on a mini Dora adventure in our own house! The adventure was to find her cake! Kate's best friend Regan (this is what Kate calls Regan) was also going on the adventure with her. They had to get on their backpacks, just like Dora does. Then I had a map that showed them where to go. We first went over sneezing snake lake, then through the spooky forest, and then they found her cake! It was so much fun! I loved it. The first time we did it, Kate wasn't too sure. Everyone was staring at her and she was a little shy. But I think we have gone through the same adventure about 25 times since then! We also had a pinata (sorry to the Waldron's shovel, we broke it!!) We also had lots of family over too! It was fun to share this special day with everyone! Over all it was a fantastic day! Happy Birthday my baby girl!!
Kate and Regan getting their backpacks on.
Sneezing snake lake. We crossed it in a cardboard box for a boat.
The spooky forest. That path had a scary monster at the end of it!! Try a different path!
Kate taking a whack at the pinata! This was a very hard pinata to break open! As you can see it was a beautiful day yesterday!
I was very impressed. Kate got all of the candles out on the first try!
Kate and Regan eating their cake on Kate's new table from Grandma and Grandpa! She now wants to eat every meal here! The table is moving to her room!
We got this bike for free a few weeks ago, but it didn't have training wheels. Kate was unfortunately there when we were offered it, so it wouldn't have been a surprise for her birthday. But, we told Kate she could get the training wheels for her birthday. I couldn't believe how fast she picked this up! We rode around our entire block shortly after she first tried riding it! This is the only picture that wasn't blurry because she was moving too fast in every other picture!Sorry for a very long post, but we had such a fun day! I can't believe that she is so big already! I love how excited she gets about the littlest things! She is a very enthusiastic ball of energy! I love you Kate!
