After Vacation Blues
So, we just got back from an amazing trip to NYC and the Bahamas. The only problem is that now my house looks like it exploded! I hate the mess that is created after a long trip. I hate all the laundry, and everything else that has to be done after you get home. It makes me want to go back...almost. We had such a fun time, but it is good to be home and get my kids on a schedule again. I would post some fun pictures, but I can't even think of doing that until I can find the cameras, or the desk that is now covered by the 10 days worth of mail to be sorted! Speaking of cameras, Kate decided that my camera needed to go for a swim in the pool! Luckily it survived the drop in the water! I can't believe that it still works. She only dropped it in a couple inches of water and Willie got to it right after it fell in. And another reason to have the blues after this vacation is because Willie is already in another country! He had to go to Calgary for work. He wasn't even in Colorado for 24 hours! Well, I hope to get some pictures on here soon! And wish me luck getting my house back in order. Every time I get something cleaned I turn around and Kate has made a bigger mess! Such is the life of a mother!

It's been said that cleaning the house while the kids are still growing is like shoveling the driveway while outside it's still snowing! I feel your pain, and I'm so sorry that you are left with a mess and two little kids! (One of which isn't sleeping through the night!) That is the worst! I'm going to call you and come over soon with your pictures and scrapbook stuff. But don't clean the house for me!
What a fun trip! that is great that you camara survived! I like what was said about cleaning house while kids are still growing, in the other comment, that is kind of true! Glad you are back, can't wait to see the pictures!

i know what you mean about the house being messy after trips.. it takes me like 3 days to put stuff away. But i guess it is worth it to get away!!
