Willie's Long Hair!!

I was talking with some friends today and they said they had never seen Willie with long hair before. This first picture is what Willie looked like when I met him. His hair was very long!!! I loved it. It was so much fun to play with. He had promised his mom when he grew his hair out he would cut it when he got married. I was unaware of this at the time, and was a little disappointed when I learned he was going to cut his hair days before our engagement pictures. The funny thing is that the day he got it cut I went over to his house and walked in the room and started talking with all his roommates and after a few minutes asked where Willie was. He was sitting right there in front of me! I totally didn't recognize him! And I knew he went to get it cut! I will never live that one down!


This is the day Willie cut his hair for our engagement pictures. He looks completely different! Can you see how I could have missed him? I must admit it took me a while to get used to this look! But I am grateful that he had shorter hair for all our wedding pictures! His mom is one smart cookie! I think my parents were glad as well:)

This picture was taken shortly before he started work with E&Y. He had interviews about 10 months before he started with E&Y. He didn't cut his hair from the time he interviewed until the day before he started work! He figured he should look professional at his first job. And this goatee was new as well! He only had this for a day. He had gone on a camping trip and didn't shave while he was gone, then when he came home he shaved a goatee for a day! So, for those of you who have never seen Willie with long hair here it is! We both miss the days of his long hair. Maybe one day everyone will be blessed to see his long hair again, but for now he must keep it short!
