2008 True National Champions

While at work, we were having a discussion about why Utah is the best team in the country. Ok, I was pushing my point of view on those I work with, and they tried to dissuade me, but it was to no avail. It then struck me that I could PROVE that Utah is the best team in the country. As there is no playoff system, the national champion is the one who beats the best teams. Through their wins, Utah has essentially beaten each top team in consideration for the National Champion crown. Sure there are some dissenters who will point out that Florida also beat Alabama. But they still lost to Mississippi, who then lost to Alabama. (everyone should now give up resisting to crown Utah as champs. resistance is futile)


Editor's Note: I am also an 'SC fan, but they're always in contention. As such, Utah has my full support for the National Champion.
