Soda or Pop?
In what has been culminating into a 4 plus year discussion, Kelly and I have finally sought help in the question: What type of beverage is coca-cola, sprite or fresca? Soda or Pop?
We realize both answers are derived from soda-pop, but who really calls it that anymore? I think once we graduated from the diners of '50s the name has been outdated. So what do you call it in your house: soda or pop?
You can answer in the poll on the right side of the blog! All answers must be submitted by next Sunday!

Up in Canada they call it soda. I am not a pop drinker, but I also remember my mother calling it pop as well, she was a pop drinker.
I'm from Canada and I always always always called it pop. I never heard anyone say "soda" until I went to Ricks.
Paul says soda. So does Reed. (I think it's because Reed only gets the stuff from Dad, and not me.)
you know, it's the region that you live in...it's a soda, never a pop...i think in the south they call everything a coke..which is how it should be...
Okay so here is why I voted other. While growing up in UT I was raised with calling that type of drink was Pop, but now I am finding I call it Soda- so I am torn between the two.

I usually have called it pop. Maybe it's because where I'm from, but that's what I say and what my kids say.
