Hiking Rox!!

As summer is winding down (I will NOT concede it is over!), we finally got out to Roxborough State Park, which we've been meaning to do for a while. It was the first big hike for the family, and it was the perfect length too. We found out during the hike that:

a) Kate is too big for the hiking backpack;

b) Kate would rather walk anyway;

c) Willie is no longer in charge of bringing Tommy's carrier, as he forgot it;

d) September (aka late summer, no where near fall) is the perfect time of year to hike.

(We also learned prior to the hike that Tommy is still very capable of having an explosion!)
